How to make Cinnamon rolls without burning them?

My daughter loves Cinnamon rolls and often ask me to bake some for her. My problem is that they always burn on the bottom because of the sugar melting and running out. How do you make them so that they sugar stays inside and they are not burned before done?

adjust the heat in your oven. lower it by 25 degrees f for one. then make sure to put the rolls on the upper middle rack of the oven. never any lower. that should do the trick.

  1. Are you putting them in a muffin pan or on a cookie sheet?

If you’re using a muffin pan, make sure the pan is sprayed well with a cooking spray like Pam.

If you’re using a cookie sheet, use parchment paper. That should help.

In either case, it may be that you’re using the wrong temperature for the type of pan you’re using. If you’re using a metal vs. glass pan, you’ll have to adjust your oven. Check your recipe.

  4. Are you using a high quality professional aluminum baking pan/sheet? The cheap ones you buy at WalMart or the grocery store are often too thin and cause baked goods to burn.
