What would be the best roll for a soon-to-be magician when you start off in maplestory?

I want to be a fire/poison mage eventually, but I want to start things off perfectly. I don’t care on your opinions of maplestory or f/p mages, just please answer my question. What would be the best roll in terms of strength, intelligence, dexterity and such for a magician?

Strength and dexterity should be 4 each. If you’re going luckless, you want luck to be 4 as well, but that can take a very long time to get.

If you don’t want to go luckless, just make sure strength and dexterity are 4 each, and have the patience to fight with energy bolt 1 until you can get max mp increase maxed out. If you can level without energy bolt (you need a friend, a really nice HPQ group, or amazing amounts of patience), that helps, but it’s really going a bit far.

4/4 is fine for most people. F/P works well with a luckless build though, as far as I see it. Since F/P has the most power between 30-70, a strong int spec mage (strong int cape/earrings helps a lot, as does a good Maple Staff/Lama Staff/Nocturnal Staff/Yellow Umbrella), you can do some serious damage, especially to fire-weak enemies.
