Is it ok to let my 3 cats sleep on my bed at night. I’m afraid I may roll over on one of them.?
The cats jump up onto my bed in the middle of the night. The only way to stop them is to lock them out of my room at night.
Cats are smart enough to know not to jump beside u and sleep there for the night. They sleep at the bottom mostly, correct?

my cats sleep under the covers with me sometimes i have rolled on them but they just move really fast and go lay by my feet.. you should realize you are when/if you do and if they don’t move in time they will bite you to let you know.

Yes, it should be fine. All the cats I’ve ever owned have slept with me and nothing ever happened. If nothing else, if you do roll over on more than a leg or tail and the cat can’t just wriggle out, it’ll probably scratch at you and meow until you wake up, and will probably then figure out not to sleep up there.

Yes, it is perfectly ok to have your cats on the bed at night if all you are worried about is rolling on them. They will move before you can hurt them. They will lie close to your body for heat and the comfort of companionship. If you are a light sleeper, they may keep you from a sound sleep by always being in the space you want to turn to thus waking you ever so slightly. I have three furry kids on my bed and I find I wake slightly to make room for my feet to fit around them. Some nights I have to put them out just to get a full nights sleep.
Another thing to think of is the fur..if you have allergies you might not want them on the bed, they do leave a lot of fur on the blankets and pillows. Also be sure to treat your cats for fleas, don’t want them jumping around and biting you when you are sleeping. Enjoy them they are wonderful. Give them lots of love and they will return it three fold.
They will keep you cozy warm in the winter..a blanket of living fur….lew

Full grown cats will move out of the way when you move (most times) – its kittens that you might roll over on. Our cats sleep in bed with us – if we move too much, they get up and leave and go sleep on the blankets by the heat duct or on the couch.

That’s fine, as long as you can sleep. They should move, as cats(mine, anyway) are light sleepers. Also, you should let them because unless you live in Florida or something, the kitties are probably cold, even with all that fur.

They’ll be fine. They have good reflexes and will get out of the way if you roll on them. Unless of course, you weigh 400 lbs.
My cat (9 yrs old) had always slept at the foot of my bed until I got married. My husband moves around a lot and kicks and my cat was tired of being kicked and she no longer sleeps on our bed. I didn’t move much and she knew that with me she could sleep comfortably all night.

You won’t roll over on them. Ever notice how cats shriek if you step on their tail or any other body part? They’ll let you know if you accidentally roll on them. Not only that, they’ll likely move when you do. My two cats sleep with me and never have I rolled on them – and never have I ever rolled over on any cat I’ve ever owned. One of my cats likes to curl up under my blanket next to my chest – and I haven’t crushed her yet.
Don’t worry – again, they’ll either move when you do, or howl should you accidentally roll on them. If anything, I’d be more worried they’d surprise-claw me in my sleep.

My cat sleeps with me, and I roll over on her all the time. She protests, and then moves to another comfy spot. No biggie.
