I have melted tootsie roll in my carpet, any ideas on how to get this out?
soak a sponge in the hottest water you can, and lay the sponge over the tootsie roll.the chocolate will melt and be absorbed into the sponge.If a brown stain remains,use a very small amount of any cleaner (murphy’s oil soap,409,fantastic etc.)and dab at the stain until it is gone.

Ice cubes and scrape with a knife,, whatever is left use a single edged razor blade and cut it out bit by bit… not the greatest solution but about all I know that you can do,, had to do it myself with chewing gum.

chip as much as you can and remove. Then take brown paper (bag) and place on the area and place a warm iron on the paper. the tootsie roll should melt into the paper. Clean remianing residue with detergent

Hairspray till firm, then a paint scrapper and some elbow grease.
