Can the roll and grow, grow in the shade or does it have to be directly under the sunlight?

I planted this in my yard but realized there is hardly any sun where I put the roll and grow. It is exposed to light and it isn’t covered but the sun doesn’t directly hit the spot where I put it. Anyone know if this roll and grow can grow if it’s not directly in the sunlight? I’m thinking I’ll call the customer service if nobody here knows but i’m not sure even the CSRs would know about this, all they ever know is how to process an order. LOL..any ideas would help !

~*~The Roll and Grow as seen on TV has the following seeds;
Baby’s Breath
Scarlet Flax
Crimson Clover
Calendula Cornflower
Larkspur
Poppies
All of these plants will grow the best in Full SUN they will not grow well int he shade. You should move it to a sunnier location for the best flowers this summer.
