   somehow the whole band got hotter as i got older, haha…this is actually the 1st time i’ve seen a proper Living End video and i’m digging seeing this side of the band. this was always one of my fav songs of theirs, it’s intoxicating to me

    Yes that is exactly what they refer to, they are talking about the old monuments and buildings etc, being torn down for new aged things

    From what I interpret it as, I think he’s talking about the sentimental stuff they had in Melbourne, but then they took it down to build over it and stuff. I think he’s directly referring to some of the old pubs/venues.

    Cellist is correct but, correct me if I’m wrong, that’s a double bass, not a cello.
