how can I flatten out a 5X7 area rug that has been rolled up the edges want to roll and lift?

if it really rolls up bad you can turn it face down and put a heavy book or object on each corner overnight, that should do it.

  4. Put it upside down with heavy books on the corners for a few days. Flip it right side up and repeat.

  5. I had the same situation recently and picked up some inexpensive double sided carpet tape. It works great and won’t damage the wood floor. Good luck.

  7. Carpet yarn has memory. Place the rug in a room where it is warm or room temp. Turn it upside down, and place books on the edges. Give it a few days, it will eventually be flat.
