where is the best place to buy spray in bedliner? do it your self? has anyone sprayed there on liner?

i seen walmart, auto zone, and a few other places had it some you can roll it on? whats the best and has anyone done it?

a buddy of mine had the herculiner which is just the roll on liner and it is chipped all over the place and looks bad. i use to do spray on bed liners for a place called line x and they are by far the best out there. we used to peal out rhino liner and put in line x that’s how good it is. you can apply it to anything i have a speaker box done and the trunk of my car is done too. i wouldn’t mess with the do it yourself i would pay the money and get it professionally done. lot of problems you see with rhino is drips and sags in the liner which just makes it look like garbage. i would recommend checking out both rhino and line x i know at the shop in Ohio i use to work at we had lots of samples of our product and that of rhino and permatech bed liners and see the difference for your self.

I’ve seen a few of the roll in type, and as far as fit and finish, they are no where near the same as a Rhino liner, or a Line-x. The only one I’ve see that was, was on a show truck sponsored by that brand, so not exactly you do it yourself job. My cousing did it himself, and it works, but the coverage varies in depth, and consistancy. My dad has a Linex which is very hard a slick when you first get it. I have a Rhino Liner which is very rubbery, and stuff won’t slide around as much as the Line-X. The Line-X will let you dent your bed with things like rocks or steel. The Rhino can get cut easier with sharp edges. Both are worth the money IMO but you should consider what your going to haul in it before you make your decision.

1977 Corvette L48.
It doesn’t have the oragional motor. Only 1000 miles on built motor and 350 turbo transmision with shift kit.
It’s a .30 over 350. Complete new rolling assembly. .488 cam. Flat top pistons. Quadrajet on Edelbrock Performer.
Heads: 2.02-1.60 stainless valves. 5 angle valve job. Double springs. New guides and seals. Ported and polished.
New Flowmasters.
New tires on Centerlines.
Paint has a few minor flaws as does the interior. It wouldn’t take much to make this car perfect.

2001 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab. 4X4 leather seats, heated seats, power windows, locks, and ect. Spray on bedliner and tinted windows. 166,000 miles.

that all depends on your lifestyle. Do you ever want to take more than 1 person with you somewhere? Do you ever need to carry something larger than a few suitcases? Do you ever shop at Costco (lol)?

Trucks and Corvettes are (obviously) vastly different from one another. Different purposes completely. So decide based on your lifestyle.

Whatever you do, if you decide on teh vette, get a THOROUGH mechanical inspection before you buy.

I have a 1965 Chevy Truck and it does not run, but a new motor is under the hood. What should I sell it for?

The truck was painted in 2003. Some rust spots are visible. But all together the truck is tough. Not to mention a custom roll pan and the cab has a big window. The bed flooring is made up of a 1" hard plastic material covered with bedliner paint. My question is what are these trucks worth these days?

Go to ebay motors and look what they are selling for. Depending on the motor, interior, and paint quality, it could take $4,000. Ive seen 1967-1972 models in that condition take 5 or 6.

my old truck is coming out of maaco late this week and i wanna apply some bed liner on it.. i wanna use the herculiner, but i’m broke. so i was looking at the plasti-kote bedliner brand.

anybody use this? how is it? do you recommend anything else?
