I have a 1995 pickup xe i want to do this really bad its not rusted so it should be very hard, but its got a few dents, could you recommend how i could get them out since the body parts is like a shell and has air-space for the body parts.

I used the roll on …
I used the roll on for the bottoem of the bed and the spray for the sides. It has held up just fine for my uses and will probablylast for the lifetime of the truck. Just make sure to clean up the bed first.

Nice job. Looks like a totally different truck! Did you end up using the roll on plasti cote for the bedliner? If so, has it held up? I’m thinking about using it for my truck.
Didnt cost too much …
Didnt cost too much for everything(mabey $300-$500) what cost was the time and labor. We spent of over a year on it. The paint job was $1200, not including the prepping. We did the priemer and all the sanding or it would have been more like $3000.

ok first off great job my dad use to have one of thse trucks and my god what a truck it was, so my hats of to you for restoring this lovely piece of machinery, and know onto the technical stuff first off how bad was the rust originally and how much did you spend on repairing the rust altogether, I ask cause i have an 89 jeep yj that i need to redo some body work on, and i’m just trying to get an idea of what this could cost me.

actually after i sprayed on a layer i discovered how thin it was- so i got some of the roll-on kind… which is way better for the bed.

that’s a good resto…the thing i wouldn’t have done different is to use a roll on bedliner…it’s a little thicker.
